Absolutely delicious! Best Italian I’ve had in SF. The halibut crudo was delicious, as were each of the three pastas we had: the Cacio e Pepe, the sea urchin spaghetti, and the corn and hen of the woods stuffed pasta. Each one was incredible! For 2 we had 1 crudo and 3 pastas and the astounding buttermilk gelato with roasted peaches. Truly fantastic - great date night ambiance and knowledgeable service

Unbelievable pasta and crudo. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and was wow'd every single time. The wine selection is amazing. Love the vibes. It's an up scale experience without any pretentiousness. They're definitely getting a Michelin star.

Came on a weeknight. Not too crowded. Parking in the neighborhood could be a bit challenging. Ordered a few dishes to share. Tried appetizers, a few pasta dishes and dessert. No drinks. Their pasta was the star among all the dishes we’ve had. Delicious and unique! Dessert is something I would skip next time. I would recommend this place but expect to pay $$$. It’s way better than a lot of really popular Italian restaurants in the city.

Great food! The crudo was excellent - we tried 4 types and all were excellent. Among the best I’ve had. Our dinner was the sea bass - was really well cooked with a tomato base. Overall a+ food experience. The service was ok and it was very very out - painfully so.

Just finished dining at Itria and what an amazing experience! Very calming interior, host and staff were lovely and made great recommendations. The food was superb. We had the lettuces, frittata squash, and three pastas. We were recommended 5-6 dishes, but I think that assumes one crudo so we could have done with only 4 for two people. I'd love to come back and highly recommend it!

The crispy garlic salad was fantastic, I've been thinking about how they make the lettuce so crispy. We had spegetti with anchovy sauce and the lamb. It was our anniversary and the waitstaff was impeccable. I can't wait to go back.

Three of us had a delicious Chef's tasting course, the service was very smooth, staff were knowledgable about the food and wine pairings. All the dishes were from good to great. Recommended.

this is a frequent italian spot for me. it's a lil pricey but it makes up for it with amazing service, vibes, and unique food. this time around we were waiting a lil longer than expected for our table. they offered to seat us early at the bar and gave us complimentary champagne for our troubles -- so cool! there must order here is the focaccia. it's great on its own but i like dipping it in with the pasta. i've had their tasting menu that i don't find to be very value but if you want to keep it simple go for it. mostly the crust they're yummy but not worth it for me. their menu rotates so the things i review will be outdated but our starting salads were the perfect for summer. one of our salads had a nice blend of tomatos. the other salad had these crispy prosciutto pieces which were just better versions of croutons. the pastas have always been their bread and butter. each one is so different but i love the general chewiness of them all. i had the Orecchiette and i loved the tomato sauce paired with the dashi. i also recommend the agnolotti. i liked the slight sweetness that came from the corn. overall a fun date spot with excellent pastas!

Really chic Italian spot in mission. Our table got 5 pastas, the chefs choice raw plate, and one entree. The oysters and amberjack were both extremely fresh and flavorful! (bursts of flavor from the chile vinegar paired with oysters and stone fruit plus mint for the amberjack!) The agnolotti and mafaldine cacio e uova were our table favorites! The restaurant was super accommodating because a few people in our party could not do pork. Everything came out well paced and I look forward to trying the desserts next time we come.

Nestled amidst the vibrant energy of San Francisco's Mission District, Itria stands out like a chic oasis. Its minimalist elegance and relaxed vibe, with dim lighting and a sleek interior, set the stage for a truly cozy dining experience. We opted for their phenomenal tasting menu, a steal at under $100 per person (before taxes and tip). This four-course extravaganza featured three delectable dishes in each of the first three courses, culminating in a delightful dessert. It's a fantastic way to sample their culinary creations, both seasonal offerings and some of their permanent menu stars. Every single bite was a revelation, leaving our party of three feeling incredibly satisfied. While portion sizes may seem small at first glance, trust me, by the end of the meal, we were happily satiated. Their menu is served family-style for appetizers, transitioning to individual portions for the main course and dessert - a nice touch for both sharing and savoring. Reservations are a must, as the place was buzzing when we arrived. Luckily, we had planned ahead and were promptly offered seats at the bar with drinks while we waited for our full party. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and readily highlighted some of their most popular dishes. We snagged the rosemary focaccia with garlic anchovy oil, a must-try. The focaccia itself was perfection - warm, buttery, and light - and the garlic anchovy oil added an addictive layer of flavor. A minor quibble - it could have been a tad warmer. In hindsight, starting with the bread would have been a great call, allowing us to savor it before diving into the subsequent courses. As the meal progressed, the focaccia went a bit cold, overshadowed by the star of the show - the incredible food. Speaking of which, the tasting menu kicked off with a complimentary chilled soup - a taste bud explosion of perfectly balanced flavors. It was a small portion, but oh-so delicious, setting the bar high for what was to come. Every dish that followed lived up to the promise. The first course featured Miyagi oysters, Hokkaido scallops, and Shima-aji. Each seafood starter was a testament to freshness. The Hokkaido scallop was melt-in-your-mouth buttery, while both the scallop and the Shima-aji boasted a delightful citrusy zest. The oyster, however, stole the show for me with its tangy perfection. The second course continued the parade of fresh offerings - ocean trout, bluefin tuna, and amberjack. Each dish was beautifully prepared, with the sauces and the dressings taking the center stage. Seriously, these sauces were so good that I could have licked the plate clean! The third course showcased the brilliance of their house-made pasta: casoncelli, cencioni, and pappardelle. The casoncelli, in particular, was a revelation. Light and handmade, the roasted pistachios added a delightful textural and flavor contrast, perfectly complementing the creamy yet light sauce. All the pasta dishes had sauces with the ideal consistency - neither too runny nor too thick. Finally, the panna cotta provided the perfect sweet ending to our culinary journey. Light as air and bursting with flavor, it was like eating a cloud of cotton candy. The interplay of tart and sweet flavors was truly exquisite. While the service had a few hiccups - attentiveness could have been a touch better, with water refills requiring some effort on our part - the phenomenal food easily overshadowed any minor shortcomings. Overall, Itria offers an exceptional dining experience. From the relaxed yet stylish ambiance to the explosion of flavors on each plate, it's a place that will leave you wanting more. Just be sure to make a reservation - this gem is a hot spot for a reason!
